How long until store data is permanently deleted

Learn how long your data is stored after subscription cancellation and when it will be permanently deleted.

Updated over a week ago

When your Shopable subscription expires, your store data is not deleted immediately. We keep it for a specific period so you can resume your business without losing your existing information. In this article, you'll learn exactly how long the data is stored and what happens if you don't renew your subscription.

What happens after subscription expiration

When your subscription expires, you lose access to the Shopable admin panel, and your store becomes invisible to customers. We no longer charge any further payments. However, all your store data โ€” products, orders, settings, configuration โ€” remains stored in our system for the next two months.

This two-month period gives you time to make a decision or allows you to renew your subscription without losing the results of your work so far.

Permanent data deletion after two months

After two months from subscription expiration, all your store data will be permanently deleted from our systems. This means there will be no possibility to recover products, orders, configuration, or any other information related to your store.

If you decide to purchase a new subscription after this period, you'll be able to do so, but you'll start from scratch โ€” without the ability to restore previous data.

What you can do to avoid data loss

If you're planning a break from running your store but want to keep your data, make sure to renew your subscription within two months of its expiration. You can do this at any time during this period โ€” your data will be waiting for you without any changes.

If you have doubts about your subscription or need more time to make a decision, contact our support team. We'll be happy to help find a solution tailored to your situation.
