How to connect Meta Pixel to your Shopable store

Learn how to add Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) to your Shopable store step by step so you can track ad performance and user actions on your site.

Updated over a week ago

Meta Pixel lets you measure what happens in your store after someone clicks your ad – for example adding a product to the cart or placing an order. In Shopable, you can connect it without manually pasting code by using the built‑in plugin in the Analytics section.

Prerequisites

To configure Meta Pixel, you need:

  • an ad account in Meta (Facebook Ads Manager),

  • a Pixel created in Events Manager,

  • access to the Pixel ID (a numeric string assigned to your Pixel).

If you do not have a Pixel yet, create it first in Meta Events Manager and then return to Shopable.

Step 1: Open the Analytics section in Shopable

  1. Log in to your Shopable admin panel.

  2. In the side menu, go to “Settings”, then open the “Analytics” tab.

  3. In the list of available plugins, find “Facebook Pixel” / “Meta Pixel” and turn the toggle on.

After enabling it, you will see a field where you need to paste your Pixel ID.

Step 2: Find your Meta Pixel ID in Events Manager

To configure the integration correctly, you need the Pixel ID – a number that uniquely identifies your Pixel.

How to find it (general flow):

  1. Log in to Meta Ads Manager and go to Events Manager.

  2. In the list of assets, select the Pixel you want to use for your store.

  3. In the Pixel details panel, you will see its name and ID – usually displayed directly under the name or in the settings section.

  4. Copy the Pixel ID to your clipboard.

This is the number you will paste into the Shopable settings.

Step 3: Paste the Pixel ID in Shopable

  1. Go back to the Shopable admin panel and open “Settings → Analytics → Facebook Pixel / Meta Pixel”.

  2. Paste the copied Pixel ID into the “Facebook Pixel ID” field.

  3. Click “Save” to enable the integration.

From now on, events from your store (for example page views, add‑to‑cart actions, purchases) will be sent to Meta and will appear in Events Manager.

Common issues

Meta Pixel is not collecting data
Check that you pasted the correct Pixel ID and that the plugin in the “Analytics” tab is enabled. Then visit your store in another browser tab and verify in Events Manager that new events are appearing.

I have multiple Pixels and do not know which one to use
Choose the Pixel linked to the ad account you use for campaigns for this store. This ensures that all events are attributed to the correct ad sets and reports.
